On Saturday, May 13, 2017, at 5:00 A.M., our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and dear friend, Viola Silguero Robles, age 71, passed away in Austin, Texas, but is now our angel in heaven. She was born in Brownsville, Texas on October 18, 1945 to Adolfo and Isabel Silguero. She was an educator for the Del Valle Independent School District for special needs children where her charities and unconditional love throughout her career benefited the lives of her students. After retiring she worked part time for the IRS, where again she left everlasting friendships. Everyone who befriended her would become accustomed of her smile and willingness to help anyone in her life; a characteristic that made her such a beautiful person. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing bingo, especially with her sisters and niece(s); she loved spending time with her oldest grandson and talking about him to anyone and everyone who would listen, their bond was a strong one, and every visit he would run to her side as her face glowed with love and pride. Even after facing so many adversities she continued to enjoy her life, and living it, always with a smile on her face.

She is survived by her son, Carlos Robles and wife, Melissa; her grandchildren, Elijah and Nathaniel Robles; stepson, Daniel Robles Jr. and wife, Patricia and three grandchildren; stepdaughter, Michele Guerrero and husband, Abdiel and three grandchildren; brother, Adolfo Silguero; sisters, Mary Lopez, Irma Silguero, and Gracie Zepeda; nephews and nieces, David Silguero and wife, Toni, Danny Silguero, Andrew Lopez and wife, Rita, Michael Lopez, Dahlinda Lopez, Vianey Zepeda, Jaime Zepeda, and Erica Rodriguez; many great-nieces and great-nephews and loving family members who love and adore her; best friend, Pat Bernstein and family. She is preceded in death by her parents Adolfo and Isabel Silguero and beloved family members.

Though she is gone and now an angel in heaven looking down on us, her smile will forever shine a light on us.

A Celebration of Viola's Life will be at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, June 10, 2017 in the Chapel of Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home.
