John Joseph (Jack) Mullins Jr. passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2017. Jack was born in Connecticut to John and Florence Mullins. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Joanne and his son Jeff.

Surviving Jack is his dear sister Elaine Dube and her two sons Bob and Chris, Jack's children John and his wife Janet (Dripping Springs), Joellen and her husband Ron Meyeres (Austin), Jackie and her husband Thomas Jew (Austin), daughter-in-law Gwen Mullins, widowed (Kansas City), 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and his beloved Genny Williams along with his many...

John Joseph (Jack) Mullins Jr. passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2017. Jack was born in Connecticut to John and Florence Mullins. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Joanne and his son Jeff.

Surviving Jack is his dear sister Elaine Dube and her two sons Bob and Chris, Jack's children John and his wife Janet (Dripping Springs), Joellen and her husband Ron Meyeres (Austin), Jackie and her husband Thomas Jew (Austin), daughter-in-law Gwen Mullins, widowed (Kansas City), 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and his beloved Genny Williams along with his many friends at Querencia Independent Living.

Growing up he played baseball and was the salutatorian of his high school class. He graduated from the University of Dayton with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He used the degree to become a respected member of the technology community and spent most of his career with NCR where he was the Director of Research and Development during a time of important advancements in many of the technologies that we know today. He loved sports of all kinds, especially pro tennis.

A Funeral Mass and a Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, September 15, 2017 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 5455 Bee Cave Road in Austin, Texas followed by a reception at the Church.
